Texts From Last Night

I'm sure many of you have been to this site.  Textsfromlastnight.com

Its a sight narrating situations people are placed in, and their (sometimes-most of the time) very inappropriate responses.  This is the type of media page, that I am sure some CHILDREN view, and are subjected too.  There are commercials marketing the site, and naturally interest arises, and people go on it.  There is not age limit, or sign in- - just a free site.  Do you think this should be something like facebook, and require you to input your age, in order to surf the site?  I do.

Ark Hotel Construction time lapse building 15 storeys in 2 days

Skyscraper.com reports:  "Six days. That's how long it took to build this level 9 Earthquake-resistant, sound-proofed, thermal-insulated 15-story hotel in Changsha, complete with everything, from the cabling to three-pane windows. The foundations were already built, but it's just impressive.

- I just can't understand why every single building is not pre-made in factories first, for optimal energy, material and time savings, not to talk about a more efficient and cheaper end result and, in the case of the Ark Hotel, only 1% construction waste. "

Take a look at this video.  Absolutly amazing!  Wouldn't you think with all 'our' tools and research, America could do the same?

Breast Cancer Benefit

This past Friday I hosted a Breast Cancer benefit at a local college bar- Bogarts.  As mentioned in previous posts my mother is a breast cancer survivor so every year I set up these local fundraisers to raise money for my 39.3 mile walk we do every year-  The Avon walk for Breast Cancer. This time around I raised 550$, last time I raised 1,200$.  I am Not to complain AT ALL, because every little bit makes a huge difference!! I received donations for local places such as :  Head Games Hair Studio -Bridgewater, My sister and I- Bridgewater, FREE oil change to Midas, 300$ player pack to PNL paintball - Bridgewater and the list goes on!

On top of everything supporting Breast Cancer- I also always include live music from local artists- - including my fiance! Check out his link to one of his performances from Friday- and support local music!
